Welcome to Guntersville Getaway

houseEnjoy the view from your own private, waterfront home. It is nestled in a small cove on beautiful Guntersville Lake, which has 949 miles of winding shoreline and 6900 acres of fun filled water. Relax on the patio of this 1600 square foot waterfront home and watch the sunset or nap in the oversized hammock. The patio is a great spot to grill out or watch the wildlife, which may include Bald Eagles, a Great Blue Heron and turtles stacked on the log next to your pier. The living area and every bedroom has ceiling to floor windows to take advantage of your lake view. In 2008, Field and Stream Magazine voted Guntersville one of the Top 10 Fishing towns in America.

lakeThe house is located on Buck Island near Gunter’s Landing and the Yacht Club. It offers a quiet and peaceful place to bring the whole family, or a retreat for two.

Bring your own boat or rent a boat or Jet Ski. There is a boat launch exactly one mile from the Getaway. Enjoy boating, skiing, or tubing on beautifull Lake Guntersville. Or, if you are an avid fisherman, try your hand at fishing right off the dock and bring home that prize winning bass.

interiorPets are considered. Little ones are welcome. They will always remember you teaching them how to fish or do a canon ball off the pier. Your private pier offers deep water year round. Summer offers boating, swimming, fishing, skiing, or just sunning on your dock. If you have had too much sun, visit Cathedral Caverns, home of the largest stalagmite forest or zip over to downtown Guntersville or the Factory Outlet Stores in nearby Boaz and Unclaimed Baggage in Scottsboro for great bargains. The large, 24 hour Wal-mart Super Center can take care of your fishing license as well as your grocery needs.
